Hitesh Kumar Goad is a skilled DevOps Engineer with over 10 years of experience in automating manual and repetitive day-to-day tasks in various environments. He has a good understanding of Redhat Linux and has also worked on other flavors of Linux and Unix. Hitesh is experienced in server patching through rhn satellite network, server build and reinstallation, and has a fine knowledge of bash and python scripting. He is also proficient in Ansible and Git. Hitesh has developed a configuration monitoring tool on python that can monitor changes on important configuration files that could potentially bring down the system. He has integrated this tool with Splunk monitoring and used Systemd Units of Linux for real-time monitoring of changes and capturing the username. Hitesh is currently working on continuous bugfix and development of this configuration tool and integrating it with production. He has also developed a pre-sanity tool for monitoring the credentials and connections between Cisco's in-house tools and ServiceNow. Hitesh has worked with Cisco as a Technical Consulting Engineer Linux and has experience in automating manual and repetitive day-to-day tasks in various environments. He has also worked on NTP, NFS, client-end DNS, server hardening, audit enabling on server, and has good troubleshooting skills. Hitesh has also worked with Fiserv as a Senior System Engineer. Hitesh holds a B.Tech degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET). He is proficient in DevOps, Python, Ansible, CI/CD, and Integration. Hitesh is always keen to learn new technologies and things and is currently open to new opportunities while serving his notice period at Zoom.
